Below is a list of our policies, terms and conditions. Clients who utilize our services are subject to the items listed below. They may be changed or altered at any time without notice. By booking, via website or phone, and submitting payment you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to all of the terms, conditions and polices as outlined. Do not book services if you are unwilling or unable to be bound by the terms.
Note: Due to traffic, and unforeseen obstacles of travel, stylist may arrive within 30 mins from your requested time, pls adjust time accordingly. All credit card charges are subject to a 4% convenience fee. Events outside of our service area, tolls, or pay parking may be subject to additional fees. Prices subject to change at any time without notice.
These professionals are all independent parties, selected by In the Nick of Time Inc.to be featured on the website and to perform services. Technicians on this site are independent contractors and are responsible for holding their own liability insurance. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless In the Nick of Time Inc., its agents and employees as a result of or in any manner related against utilizing services, damage, loss or expense including attorney’s fees, by reason of the liability imposed by law upon In the Nick of Time.
There are no refunds once client receives confirmation from stylist and payment is made. There are no refunds for gift cards. If a stylist, massage therapist or barber is booked for services and upon arrival, the situation (hair/ nail/ skin integrity etc.) is not as described by client, we reserve the right to decline services (no refunds applied) or charge for any additional services necessary to complete service request. If a stylist, massage therapist or barber is unable to provide requested services because hair/nail/skin integrity is not as described by client initially or is more involved than indicated ( hair is tangled, has acrylic/gel overlay, skin integrity is not suitable for services) and stylist is unable to provide services, there are no refunds issued. If a client books and pays for a service and upon technician arrival, the client is not there, declines a service, or cancels the appointment, no refunds are issued. Unless explicitly expressed by client, stylist/barber or therapist assumes client has no barriers to providing requested services. Clients are obligated to fully disclose status of nail/hair/skin integrity at time of booking to ensure services may be rendered appropriately. If a technician is unable to arrive to a client's location for a booked service, client will received full refund within 1-3 business days. If a client is dissatisfied with the service, it must be addressed with the technician while he/she is still at your location so they can try to rectify the situation. If a resolution cannot be met, the client must notify the technician of dissatisfaction, take pictures of the issue and submit it within 24 hours to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Events & Parties In The Nick of Time, “TNT” is a hospitality service, just like catering; therefore, all packages and services must be purchased in advance. ALL reservations/sales are final; TNT does NOT issue refunds unless specifically indicated in our policy. Refunds are not issued for events that are “per guest” event if guests are exorbitantly late or do not show up. With matters preventing scheduled party/event that are “acts of God” refunds will be issued less administrative costs. A non-refundable deposit and credit card to keep on record is required to reserve all dates/times, insure any incidentals, cover outstanding balances, complete your contract, and begin the event planning process; TNT will NOT come out to any venue/event without a valid credit card on record – regardless of your final payment method (including cash, check or certified check). ALL balances, in full, are due in advance of your event date to schedule and reserve TNT team and are automatically charged to the credit card on record, unless other payment options are agreed upon in writing. TNT contractors and staff do NOT carry cash or complete sales on-site at any event or individual appointment unless specifically agreed in writing in advance. Event packages, services and number of guests may NOT be lowered or withdrawn. A rush fee no greater than $100 may be applied to any events booked 7 days or less from when event takes place. A 25% rush charge may apply to any package or service that is added or upgraded after your final headcount date. Within 30 days of your event, charges may apply for any changes in dates or services depending on the size and complexity of your event. If refunds must be applied for services not yet rendered, an administrative fee of no more than $250 may be deducted from refund. Events with total costs over $1,000 can be paid by check if received 30 days prior to event and is agreed upon by owner/admin staff that is booking event. All technicians on our site are independent contractors. If you are unsatisfied with a service, you must mention it to the technician at time of service so they are able to rectify any issues.
In the Nick of Time provides clients access to salon and spa professionals that provide services to clients at their location. Verbal or physical inappropriateness or sexual harassment will not be tolerated. If for any reason the stylist or therapist feels “uncomfortable” with the situation, they are able to leave and client will be charged full amount for services.
Gratuities are not included in the service charges, but if you are pleased with services feel free to give your stylist or therapist a tip at your discretion. This cannot be added to the credit card on file.
Technicians will refuse a treatment if any of the following apply: 1. Any medical conditions that were not mentioned at time of reservation. 2. Broken skin or lesions. 3. If you are pregnant or have any medical condition, please let it be known when you book the appointment. If for these reason, the stylist/therapist is unable to perform request, technician has the right to refuse session and client payment will not be refunded.
